Research Interests

 

    • Systematic: aesthetics / philosophy of art, philosophy of culture, philosophical anthropology, critique of religion, philosophy of science.
    • Historical: Kant, early Romanticism (esp. Novalis and Schlegel), philosophy of the nineteenth/twentieth centuries (esp. Blumenberg, Cassirer, Heidegger).
    • Current dissertation project under the title: ‘Theory as Possibility – On Philosophical Self-Contemplation in Ernst Cassirer’.

    • Since 2021: freelancer for the non-fiction editorial department of the publishing house Klett-Cotta.
    • Since 2020: Assistant at the Chair in Philosophy with a Focus on Contemporary Philosophy and Technology at the University of Freiburg’s Department of Philosophy.
